What Is Man?
Went to watch <
What is Man> with Wei Liang yesterday evening...
3 Hours show...The longest play i have ever watched...
In the end, i came out of the play dazed with so much exciting scenes, amazed with the chimness of the chinese spoken, blurred by the ending, fascinated by the innovativeness of the writer and producer, and still laughing at the wittiness of each of the 9 main characters...
In the play, each of the 9 characters take on the name of key characters in the classic novel, or shall i say masterpiece since i liked it alot,
...
They then group up or act alone in scenes depicting scenarios where each man undergoes certain kinds of difficulties and challenges, in a process for auditioning for a gang movie...
During the auditioning process, you can see that each character relate to certain circumstances very well. The play eventually shows what kind of difficulties and thoughts go through Man as he tries to fulfil his and others expectations of him, as well as trying to fit into society...
A really must watch for women i should say...Haha...
Next play, <Like Shadows>...
