Unsportsmanship Balls

Yesterday's match between the Lions and the Cats is simply unforgettable...

Not that it is a very exciting match though...

The most memorable thing to me is the 18 minutes shown on the injury time clock...

In case you were too deaf to hear the news or too blind to read the headlines, the Lions was awarded a penalty during the 82nd minute...

I thought it was not a penalty though, the ref - who unsurprisingly had a very very bad game, made a very very *surprise* bad decision by allowing a penalty...

And the best thing...The Cats felt it was unfair and decided to walk off the pitch...

Amazing...never in my 11 years watching singapore play did i ever saw this kind of incident before...heck...never in my 11 years watching professional soccer did i see such thing happen before...

Such unsportsmanship...no integrity...no pride...no balls...er...i mean...no balls left on the field la cos the stupid ref was holding it like it was his own...

Though it would have been a very big one....

I think the Iron Ladies will have more pride than them...

In case you do not know who the Iron Ladies are...Remember the movie where there are a bunch of she-man playing volleyball?

yup...i think if they play such thing would not have happened...

Because they would all have been red carded for deliberate "hand ball"...

And the match would be abandoned with the Lions winning 2-0 by default...

But i gotta say the penalty was very very well taken and scored...

That guy who scored the penalty really got alot of 'Balls'...

Credit for the Lions though it was a poor match overall...

And i will definitely stake my balls...er...soccer balls i mean...on a Lions victory overall...

They will bring back the CUP for sure...

still...i think the iron ladies would be better goalkeepers...because no matter how wide they open their legs, the ball just won go in...
