Not a very good day for me today even though I enjoyed watching the movies The Departed and The Prestige.

Everyone was very hot tempered and disagreements were flying around more then the birds were in The Prestige.

Initially I started the day with a smile, but sometime into the day my temper got the better of me. Guess its because I'm too stressed with school work that makes me short tempered these days.

But then, without the stress the enjoyment is just not there... Haha, I'm contradicting myself again.

But that is just me.

I just like the irony of it all...Makes life interesting sometimes...

Ok, I indulged too much in myself le...let's talk about the movies...

People, I strongly recommend you to watch as it is a very very intriguing and mysterious movie. Wonderful acting skills by Hugh Jackman, Cristian Bale, and Michael Caine. The movie talks about the rivalry between the two magicians and their quest to become the better of the other. Twists are abundant in the movie and I think the movie really epitomised the 3 stages of magic: The Object, The Turn, then The Prestige.

One word of advise when you watch the movie, pay attention to all the details of the movie. Even though there will be alot of flashbacks and scene changing, it will all make sense during the finale. So, I strongly recommend this movie.

Though I cannot say the same for . Those who watched the chinese version, Wu Jian Dao, will think that The Departed is not as good as the chinese one. At least that is the impression i got from dear, her sister, and sylves. I though, only watched the ending for Wu Jian Dao so i quite appreciate the effort of the actors and the director. So, if you want to go catch it, go with an open mind and see what the movie has to offer.
